NSW: Men plead not guilty to murdering Wagga Wagga woman
SYDNEY, April 30 AAP - Two men accused of murdering a woman in southern NSW pleaded
not guilty today to the charge.
Leonard James Masson and Shane Antoni Symss, both 23, denied in the NSW Supreme Court
that they murdered Florence Hazel Marino at Wagga Wagga in April 1999.
However, Masson pleaded guilty to robbing Ms Marino of jewellery and her handbag and
wounding her during the attack and also pleaded guilty to stealing her car.
Symss pleaded not guilty to robbing Ms Marino and wounding her but guilty to stealing her car.
The crown is expected to open its case in the trial before Justice Rod Howie tomorrow.
